Lake Havasu

The deep, cool waters of Lake Havasu in Lake Havasu City Arizona are surrounded by coves and inlets that are some of the state’s best fishing hot-spots. Black and striped bass, crappie, bluegill, catfish and trout are numerous here.

Lake Havasu is dedicated to preserving its native wildlife. Biologists have set aside 7 isolated coves in Lake Havasu to raise populations of 2 endangered Arizona fish species, namely the Bonytail Chub and Razorback Sucker, in predator-free environments until they reach about 12 inches in length.
