The Golf Club at Chaparral Pines

Share
Share Share Share
In creating this golf course, the designers worked to preserve as much of the natural vegetation and topography as possible. To that end, the layout is highlighted by spectacular boulder outcroppings, towering Ponderosa Pines more than 100-feet tall, and scenic mountain vistas. Water comes into play on eight holes and adds to the beauty and challenge of this design. The club is also committed to working with the experts of Audubon International in an effort to earn the coveted designation of Signature Status, ensuring preservation of the natural site both now and the future.

This course was rated by the Arizona Republic as the best new private course in America, and the third best private course in the state behind Forest Highlands and Estancia. "Golf Digest" also selected this course 8th on its list of "Best New Private Courses" for 1998. The 6,513-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 77.8 and slope of 156. The 5,906-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 74.4 and slope of 151.
