This course has tree-lined fairways and out-of-bounds stakes lining many holes, essentially forcing golfers to hit the ball straight. The small greens are undulating and firm, translating into hard-to-hold approach shots. The fairways are predominantly flat, but there are a few small hills which can affect your lies. This is one of the oldest courses in the state. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round. The ladies' yardage is slightly longer for the first nine holes, but the men's is yardage is 200 yards longer on the back nine.
