Wupatki National Monument

Located in north-central Arizona near Flagstaff city, the Wupatki National Monument is rich in Native American ruins. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the monument opens the doors to the historic Pueblos built by ancient Sinagua Indians almost a thousand years ago. The entrance to the Wupatki Monument is located about 15miles north of Flagstaff. Though today Wupatki looks abandoned, people of the Hopi, Zuni, Navajo & other tribes believe that souls of people who had lived & died here once still linger as spiritual guardians.

London Bridge

The London Bridge in Lake Havasu City is based on the original London Bridge on the River Thames in London. The original bridge was dismantled in 1967 & put up for auction to construct a new one in its place. Robert P. McCullock, founder of Lake Havasu City, submitted a bid that he won and so brought the original bridge to Lake Havasu City. The Bridge was dismantled and rebuilt connecting Lake Havasu City with an island in the lake. Today the bridge stands as a backdrop for an English village set up alongside Lake Havasu. There are Tudor style buildings and shops depicting Medieval England. English style pubs, a playhouse, restaurants, boutiques and specialty stores – much like a typical English village.
