Rainbow Lake in Matanuska-Susitna County, Alaska is at the end of a 0.5 mile trail from a parking area at mile 10 of the Snug Harbor Road. Snug Harbor Road intersects the Sterling Hwy at mile 47.9 at the western edge of Kenai Lake. The Rainbow Lake is a natural lake & reservoir besides being a great fishing destination especially for Rainbow Trout.
