Trail Description:
Trailhead is located at the Canoe Point Picnic Area in Trocadero Bay (approximately 8 water miles from Craig) and is accessed by boat or float plane. It is a .25 mile one-way trail with a gravel and natural tread that leads to a spectacular 130-foot waterfall. The picnic area and trail are a popular destination for recreation boaters and kayakers. During the summer and fall spawning salmon fill the creek leading up to the pool created by the waterfall. Wildlife viewing is excellent this time with the opportunity to view birds and possibly glimpse a black bear.
