The campground is a large single loop through a stand of spruce and deciduous trees between Granite Greek and Seward Hwy, Rt. 1, and is surrounding by snowcapped mountains which provide scenic views from most campsites. Some sites overlook Granite Creek which can be heard in most of campground. Although there are Shrub willows in the campground, it is the separation of sites that provides good privacy. There is some traffic noise but it isn't distracting. Firewood is available for a fee.
