The fact that Alaskan’s love their food is justified by the fact that even the smallest of towns in Alaska has a local diner where one can order sumptuous breakfast & lots of hot coffee. Some indigenous favorites of the state include firewood honey & spruce tip syrup. Alaska’s fishing grounds being one of the richest in the world; seafood forms a major portion of Alaskan cuisine with king & snow crab topping the list. While most local restaurants serve fresh halibut & salmon daily, there are others that serve "catch of the day" & other locally hunted meats.
