Kincaid Park is located amid, 400 acres of rolling, forested hills near beautiful Anchorage, Alaska. Visitors to this most scenic of Anchorage parks are treated to a spectacular view of Mt. Susitna across Cook Inlet as well as Fire Island to the Southwest and Mt. Denali and Mt. Foraker to the North.

The Kincaid Outdoor Center and the adjacent grounds are popular places for picnics, barbecues and sporting events. The Outdoor Center offers expansive green lawns, a picnic pavilion, a gorgeous flower garden and picturesque lakeside areas for visitors to enjoy.

There are over 60km of interwoven trails at Kincaid Park that provide outdoor enthusiasts with year-round opportunities for Anchorage hiking, biking, walking, running, and skiing. More than 2-dozen major events have been held in the park, including national-level competitions for the selection of the U.S. Olympic Teams for X-C skiing and for Special Olympics, Alaska Ski for Women, the National Masters X-C Skiing Championships and the NCAA National X-C Skiing Championships.
