  • Alabama Lakes

The lakes in Alabama are managed by the Department of Conservation & Natural Resources. Most of these lakes are stocked with bluegill, largemouth bass, channel catfish & others. Although these lakes offer plenty of opportunity for boating, swimming & other recreational activities, the major choice of recreation remains to be fishing. Thus, whether you are at the beautiful Smith Lake north of Birmingham fishing for striped bass or at the West Point Lake looking for excellent largemouth bass, you are sure to enjoy each second of it. Besides, these lakes are a great venue for a fun-filled, affordable family vacation.
