This course features rolling, tree-lined fairways that were cut through 200 acres of pine trees. The greens are large and subtle, with flowing undulation. The course demands good iron play. The course's signature hole is #16, a 359-yard, par 4, featuring a severe green guarded by a hazard toward the front and a large ridge that runs through the middle of the green. "Golf Digest" selected this course 5th on its list of "Best New Private Courses" for 1998, and it was also voted "Best Private Course in the Southeast" for 1998.
