Rock Creek Golf Club

This course has generous landing areas in the fairways, but errant shots may find the standard cut of rough along the borders. The large greens are undulating and their speeds are determined by the seasonal weather conditions. The signature hole is #2, a 434-yard, par 4, with a seventy-foot drop in elevation from tee to fairway, and then an approach shot over a marsh to a green with a bulkhead wall measuring thirty feet in height behind. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 8th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. You may only walk the course after 3 PM.
