The choice of airport in Alabama depends largely on the city you plan to visit. Alabama has several flights connecting regional airports within the state as well as from other states. For those who wish to fly to Alabama from outside the state have two choices – Birmingham Alabama Airport in the center of state & Huntsville International Airport in the north of state.

The other large cities in Alabama like Montgomery, Mobile & Dothan have only regional airports with scheduled daily flights from many states. While Mobile Alabama Airport with direct flights from Memphis, Atlanta, etc is a good choice for those planning an Alabama vacation along the coast, the municipal airports at Muscle Shoals & Tuscaloosa are convenient options for those planning to visit attractions in the northern or western part of the state. Interestingly, parking fees at these airports is the same as any other major United States facility.
